We are Paessler.
We take responsibility.

As a monitoring company, together with our customers, we contribute to reducing the consumption of resources by humankind.

Why we do what we do

How our customers reduce the
consumption of resources

Carbon Drawdown Initiative monitors ground data related to CO₂ sequestration using Paessler PRTG Hosted Monitor

"Monitoring will help us understand which parameters influence the chemical reactions of basalt with CO₂ in the soil. The monitoring data is an important basis for subsequent analysis and comparison with other values such as laboratory measurements"

ENGIE Solutions monitors resource consumption with PRTG Enterprise Monitor

„Our purpose (“raison d’être”) is to act to accelerate the transition towards a carbon-neutral world”

„6,000–8,000 additional sensors were installed on meters, thermostats, connected heating systems, wind turbines, etc.”

PRTG helps Bosch Rexroth to reduce CO₂ emissions while increasing productivity

“PRTG makes a significant contribution to the organization and stability of the two locations Lohr am Main and Erbach.”

“Bosch Rexroth helps, for example, to reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions while increase simultaneously raising productivity.”

Aquafin keeps infrastructure clean with PRTG

„With the help of data, analyses and reporting, Aquafin not only monitors the quality of the water, but helps the company prevent dry soil and limit the repercussions of heavy showers.”

Kennedy Industries helps keep communities safe and operational with PRTG

„From an environmental sustainability standpoint, KISM helps communities preserve natural water resources and prevent contamination by using PRTG to keep infrastructure running seamlessly.“

How Paessler reduces electronic
waste and is closing the loop

We at Paessler have a mission.

We want to do our part to reduce the consumption of resources by mankind.
But as a company and employer with over 350 employees, we have to purchase a lot of technology equipment.
In doing so, we don't want to fuel the global problem of electronic waste.
That's why we're teaming up with Closing the Loop to get to the root of the problem.

How we reduce our resource consumption

How do I find the best time to air out an overheated room (Using PRTG)?

Using PRTG, we determined the best time to air out our overheated offices, thus helping us save resources by not having to run air conditioners.

Monitor the way we work

Monitoring the way we work gives us insights that help us decide how to lower the consumption of electricity and heating gas. These include metrics such as how many people shut down their PCs overnight, or the temperature of our offices at a given time.

One flew over the Paessler's nest

Our Paessler headquarters runs 100% on electricity from renewable resources. Aiming towards CO2 neutrality, in 2019 we started producing our own electricity using solar power.

You wouldn't believe what we've learned in one year after installing a PV system on our roof

We've been tracking our photovoltaic system, its output and our specific consumption for over a year now, and would like to give you a brief overview.

How Paessler reduces electronic waste and is closing the loop

The concept of Closing the Loop is in itself very simple. For every workplace device a customer buys, a corresponding amount of electronic waste is getting recycled - with a clear focus on Africa, where electronic waste is a ubiquitous problem.

The big Why:
Why we do what we do

We at Paessler believe monitoring plays a vital part in reducing humankind's consumption of resources. Monitoring data helps our customers save resources, from optimizing their IT, OT and IoT infrastructures, to reducing energy consumption or emissions. This topic defines the "why" in "why we do our everyday business", and in July 2020, we made it our official company purpose.

“It definitely helps to do tuning
and save resources.”
